Hi Guys I ran ecmspy read and my 1125r ecu is a BUEZDOM5 08-12-08 Ive downloaded the BUEZD_V5.xdf from ecmspy.com I take it i only need to click xdf in tunerpro v5 and then click select xdf and then load the xdf file? On xopti's recent post to badweathers he say that all thats needed now is a cable, tunerpro v5, the plugin and the xdf file. However on his video in youtube he seems to be loading a adx definition file under the aquisition tab. Can someone clarify? Thanks |

Correct - the xdf is like a "decoder ring" that tells turner pro how to decipher the binary file pulled from your ECM and display it in readable format for you. That part of it can be done "offline" provide you already retrieved the binary ECM file. The adx file is similar to the xdf but is used in an "online" fashion to decipher the real time data (i.e. speed, rpm, enrichments, etc) that the ECM is sending through the cable. Basically it's used for logging. The other plug in the Xopti has floating around is used to retrieve the binary file from the ECM using TunerPro directly in lieu of using ECMSpy/Read. I haven't used the last plugin yet, I think there are a few that have already though. |

I have been having issues retrieving the ECM file from the bike. In Tunerpro I am able to log while the bike is running, but can not seem to push the right buttons to just pull over the ECM information. Any help is appreciated. |

What ECM Type Specific Information does one need to download off of EcmSpy to use TunerPro ver 5 to read the Ecm as I see there are several listed below the Specific Information area on their web site and like to make sure I get the right Bin Definition to use on my 1125R (Message edited by hd8803rider on September 15, 2010) |
