Can you simply pull a fuse to temporarily disable the lights for a track day? Thanks!

No, if you pull the headlight fuse the bike will not start. It is a safety feature. You should disconnect the headlamp harness at the front of the bike.

Assuming you have an R, you'd want to remove the mirrors anyway, so you're only a few screws away from taking the front fairing off anyway. Pull it off, tape over the light housings, disconnect the plug and then use 2 zip ties and the screws on the bottom to hold the fairing on.

I run with bar-end mirrors (huge improvement) so I am more than halfway there already. Its a revelation working with the 1125R's bodywork vs. Japanese sportbikes. Soo much simpler!
