What a bad dynojet is a Dynojet dyno. They stop at 222 miles per hour i did that in 4th gear.. gggrrrr Weel i had fun today finished the 1125R for Bonneville, 2 to go. It makes on a Dynojet Dyno in de USA SAE corrected 161 HP and 92 ft/lb (125 NM of Torque) look down for the graph we where not able to see how much top speed the bike could make. oohh well that's what the people at Bonneville will measure for us. |

+1 on dyno! How big a difference is there between your retail ECM service settings and the one's being used at Bonneville? Please share pictures from the desert. Try taking some with early morning, and late evening light. (Message edited by dannybuell on August 23, 2010) |

Danny, I can tell you this when we build it all in the Netherlands and dyno it on my own dyno. I don't think there is a big difference, better is that the parts i use are a cheap setup for this power. That was also our main goal test it and see if it works besides only talking about it. + I will design a new header and exhaust for this setup that can better handle the power and keep it quiet on the street and see where we win and loose torque. The bike makes now 125 NM i think we can find a little more at lower RPM (-: I am not happy with the Erik Buell Racing exhaust and we don;t have the time to test stuff now. so we use what we have. Martin my colleque is also having this adventure and he is much more a photograph guy then i am, i don't even have a camera. |

Easy, did 5th gear break due to the increase in power or was it some other reason? Thanks and keep up the great work! I hope you hit your goal on the salt! |

See you there, tough class as the 1125 will run in the 1350 class with all the Busas etc, and 4 cylinders or two,you will need lots of HP to get to 200+ |

THAT IS MORE POWER THEN THE 1190 OF EWRIK BUELL RACING. AND WE HAVE DONE IT WITH STOCK HEADS AND STOCK CYLINDERS. AND IT IS WAY WAY WAY CHEAPER, INTERESTING IS THAT WE STILL NEED TO MAKE A 1190 KIT AND DO THE HEADS (-: FUNNY HOW THINGS GO IN LIVE. That shows there is some great potential with these motors. Great work.} |

easyrider, what was wrong with the transmission? I noticed in your article you said you noticed it was binding when you pushed the 1125, was that in neutral, or in first the clutch pulled in? I'm curious because i notice that mine gives a bit more resistance if i push it in first gear with the clutch in, especially when it is cold, just wondering if that is normal. easy I sent you a message on my xb9 data. I stumbled into something back in the summer. I saw your dyno charts and I see the same pattern I had and was stuck at. sent what i did. try it or not. doesn't matter to me. thought I would share for the Salt flats purpose. SE 536 cams are your friend. yes they fit. re-stake the rotor cup that's all. This is not your first rodeo. |

BS that is more power than Erik Buell Racing engines. What a jerk to post this. We are closing in on 195 HP at the rear wheel with oxygenated fuel, and make 185 with Sunoco plain gas. With the Erik Buell Racing race exhaust that this guy claims is no good. And we can run for the length of endurance races too at this power level. |

Easy should never have posted that and perhaps there was some beer involved, who knows? To be fair, I really don't respect "anonymous" posters or those using an ALIAS of ANY KIND when they use such strong personal attacks such as calling someone a "jerk" or "arrogant". It allows them to "hide" and not take personal responsibility for their words and that really bothers me. It's really different on the firearms related forums where I normally post where the most honorable people use their real names. My name is Andy Tuttle but if you Google that name, none of the names that come up is me!!! I guess its because I've been using this "handle" so long that it has become synonomous with who I am and and I therefore try to behave responsibly on internet forums. This forum has a pretty low standard of conduct and it really bothers me. I'm a huge fan of Erik Buell and Michael and I hope the company "bounces back" stronger than ever! And I too gave the boys at Twin Motorcyles a hard time at first. But I do appreciate their rabid desire to improve upon the Buell 1125 motor and tune and competition in the free market is a very healthy and American idea. Erik Buell is a very kind man from all the reports I have read, from videos I have seen, and from reports from some of my good friends who have met him. Lets honor him and represent all Americans in the best honorable light by being decent. Flame me if you will, but that's how I feel about it. -Tutt |

Cowboytutt, All anon posters have to have a reason for posting without their ID being shown. This is verified by the admins here. Very often, Anonymous posters are actually from E-B-R. They aren't hiding because of the things they say, they are legally not able to disclose who they are. Personally, I think Easyrider is doing some good work but he acts like the guys at E-B-R are incompetent when I know personally there are some of the smartest guys in the business working there. The attitude is uncalled for and it would piss be off if it was directed at me. (Message edited by RatsMC on August 29, 2010) |

Sorry CT, too much drama for me. I'd rather talk bikes. Feel free to elevate the state of decorum here by joining in. I vouch for each anonymous poster. They are all honorable folks. Arrogance is mitigated by achievement, like winning races, and supporting impressive drag racing peeformaces. The dyno tells only a portion of the story, the one with WOT. |
