I have way too much time on my hands : D

I spent half the day making camera mounts...finally came up with a half decent one.

Still a little wind noise and sometimes the vibes make it too blurry, but way better than anything I've tried yet. Still need to refine the clamp mechanism.

Check it out cool

You could tell it was a buell because you chose a road that required turing left and right.

lol

It's a 12 Megapixel Sony DCS T-90. I think maybe the "Steady Cam" function might be going bonkers when the engine vibe hits a certain frequency. I'll see if I can get it to stay clear more than not. I'll try a piece of tape over the microphone hole too.

Talk about overlooking the obviousD'OH!

The simple way (for someone with the stock mirrors) is to run a piece of flat stock from mirror bolt to mirror bolt underneath the windshield.

If you have stock mirrors the bolt ends are plenty long. I used short screws with acorn nuts under the turn signals that replace the mirrors. It would be a major ordeal replacing the machine screws trapped under the signals, as I glued them in place.

latest iteration on the overbuilt mount : p

quick test to see how the engine vibes affect the cam

I need to take a longer series of tests (great excuse for a sunset ride) and try it with the "Steady Cam" mode off.

Much better on the wind noise with the camera closer to the windscreen. Did some runs up to 120 and except for the blurring the quality was better.
