yep its here... you will need the new tunerpro rt v5 the xdf for your ecm a cable and thats it. all in one program is here now. download the tunerpro rt (new release) v5 download the plug-in for buell read write. unzip that file and place into tunerpro rt's file in the hard drive (normally C. set the comport and emu/la to buell and from there connect to read and write using the plug on the tool bar. if you want the dash live use the two arrows but first disconnect from the read write plug-in in the tools tab. a small sample video will be made soon on the setup. from here just adding to the adx development is all we have left. (((the only issue( always something) the front afv can't be reset due to its location in the eeprom. this is done by choice... as page one holds all the sensitive data in speedo vis and other info. we are not going to unlock page one for this reason on tampering with vins speedo values and ect.)) Overall its really simple to use. Mike |

Xopt, Just to clarify, do you mean the front fuel values can not be changed ? Cheers. |

Stimbrell, what he is saying is the AFV values cannot be adjusted on both cylinders ie: upping the AFVs from 100 to 105 on each cylinder, correct me if im wrong Xopti. |

So what happends if you tune a exhaust and you need more then 255 value for the injectors... There are exhaust that need that, so i say be careful if that is not possible. becuase you end up with a bad tune. |

Run with larger (higher) duty cycle injectors? |

with ecmspy2 it's possible, incl. read/write and live-data, diagnosis-tools, errorcodes read/delete and resets of both cylinders...fit to buell. costs only 55us$ and it works just fine ... (Message edited by cherry_bomb on August 26, 2010) |

only the front afv is not resettable. it will self adjust up or down to its needs. a mis conception on afv is in another post. it doesnt matter id the fuel is at 80afv or 130 afv. thats global numbers based from the stioch setting high 02 + low o2 value divided by 2. to get more fuel or different characteristic either run a wideband on low simulated voltage feed to the ecm and offset it or changes the ecm setpoint so its more rich or less as the target. some poeple know this they just refuse to tell it cause it gets into their profits. I am not after the money on these... If I was it would not have been free... you can change injectors as D-adams stated. that the proper way if you have to get fuel outside the 255 due to the position of the working parts in the injector. pushing beyond you are making a weak point and a drip if not set 100% to the correct position. the 255 is a fixed limit. 255 at more afv is useless. it will go from a good spray to a messy spray and will read good on the raw fuel in the pipe on the o2 but its just that raw fuel not burnt due to spray pattern. the ecmspy mono is not $55.00. its donation. 97.00usd per ecm last I checked (about 5 mins ago). It will do what was posted but doesnt have everything in it like tunerpro does. Tunerpro does everything and more. no history tables to see what the injectors actually wanted after all sensors were taken into account based from the actual fuel map values and ect. (sorta auto tune) you have choices. either system is 1000% better than what selling places use to get fuel spot on. its impossible to make a map on a different bike on a dyno somewhere else then load that file to a bike in different conditions and be accurate. It just cant happen. thats a gimmic... epic fail.( sorry to tell it like this but its how it is.)the premade maps are a base setting to start with(template) or run as is and never be really matched except to the bike it was created on. Thats just how it is. do a map and send it around the USA running fuel from whats available. you will see afr move and running caracteristics on that bike. that was done by Us here from fl to canada to california and back. at sea level where the map was made it runs awesome on 93 pump fuel. get 91 in other places at high altitude not so well. get 93 back in at high still bad. drop altitude match fuel and all is good again. one bike two sets of tires and 30 days. same bike same map and it did not work in every condition well. it had to get matched to different conditions to work well. this showed with out a doubt one map made in one place even on that very bike will not work every where. now how is a map made in one place going to work well everywhere on a different bike when it was not fully adjusted to that very bike? It cant!!! each bike has different wear, and ect besides all the weather and parts condition that goes into the adjustments. buy one of these and run it through the datalogger and see how bad it is. when done dont complain that you got ripped off and had to match the fuel yourself. This is not counting how far off timing is actually. you need a stead state dyno with proper setup. you cant set timing correctly with out it. will not happen... I have tuner pro rt, ecmspy mono (all versions), ecmspy, both ebr tuners ddfi2 and ddfi3, tuneboy, and a couple others for these bikes. I am burnt out on these and have looked at each in capabilities. The ecmspy mono and tunerpro RT is the best hands down... The choice is yours. free all ecms with matching xdf or 97.00 USD per ecm type(donated to a hospital charity) any way it's out its done and have fun... |

on the avf as long as the cylinder is balanced. as in same avf evenly across the entire map its fine how it is... reset is not needed. the issue is balance between cylinders. same afr each cylinder. the afv can be different as long as the afr is stable. then in each map make sure the avf is stable through out. no 90 afv at one rpm then 100 afv at another and 95 at the next. it has to be even to work right. a bouncing afv between rpm zones is afr issues not stable balanced on the O2 setpoint. smooth it out and all is well. easy to do in history tables to see spot and fix holes and spikes. you will need to use the adx and adjust the rpm in the edit history to match your ecm rpms. from there its smooth sailing. |

its just a choice.. use the tunerpro from mark the adx from me or ecmspy mono from gunter. mark and gunter put a lot of personal time into these as well as I did to get the adx files up for everyone and you seem to be the only non great full person. why? my question is what part did you write or assist in if any at all? you seem to do a lot of finger poking but no hard telling how to's and contributing to the cause except bickering. either this. shut up and help others or go away... simple choice... I dont chase your post so you dont chase mine. this is what makes people leave badweb crap like this. I know what each system does. so does many others. we all have access to the how to use it sheets. show me something I don't have. do you run no O2's safely in FI? so you can go from 8000 ft to sea level and still run perfect on the same map with out them? lol if so dont help then. you will be more harm than good. ask Erik Buell Racing and anyone actually trained in FI not back woods guru's. dut da durr mike (Message edited by Xoptimizedrsx on August 26, 2010) |

directly above the download on the beta page. this is until the other car guys get him the OK to release. At that time its going to the main page. Each link is a direct feed from the main websites not from my server. I do not host this info there fore if anyone decides not to publish the data or allow downloads my links will disable automatically. I have each link posted. http://xoptiinside.com/downloads All xdf is the ecmspy xdf download. This assures you get the latest and correct info at all times. Thats how Gunter wanted it set up so he does not have to alert about updates or worry about people having old out dated info thats getting passed around. The Adx files are on my page for live connection as they are not hosted anywhere else that I know at this time. note: on the adx they are general and I am working on the how to page for then to adjust; as in rpm order, tps order, connection and mods needed if your ecm is needing a change to connect. The where to and how to do it will release soon. I am improving the adx and will update the new features soon. There will also be an update for the plug-in and one for the tunerpro. This will all occur when it moves to the front page from beta. Mark, Gunter and I have all agreed this is to be free and used by non commercial people only. dount use it for profit in other words. It's actually locked due to the GUI on XDF download. this is the tunerpro and the ecmspy.. both not for commercial use... (Message edited by Xoptimizedrsx on August 29, 2010) |

if your rpms are backwards as in highest on the left and lowest on the right do this. plus the tps is upside down. on tool bar: tools click it preferences click it general tab click it top right put a check mark in columns box and rows box. apply. save open your map!!! now everything will read nice for you!!! pass this along... |

I keep getting "Failed" errors when I try to upload or download the Bin using the Buell read write emulator plugin. RT data acquisition works fine. Hardware shows as BUE2D242 which is correct for my ecm. However "NOT EMULATING" is in red. Any ideas? |
