Gee, what a surprise, I have been saying that for months now. Glad they finally got their head out of their ass Also, there is no new part number as far as I can tell. Please provide it to us when you get your bike back (it will be on the receipt). |

Any idea what part number they ordered? Don't want you waiting 5 days and finding they ordered a wheelnut by mistake.. |

The part number I am seeing for the current stator is Y0442.2AM and they are available so it should only take a week tops to get one |

Yes froggy you were right. You knew it and I knew it. The dealer didn't know jack chrome from a hole in the wall. Yes I was holding onto hope in fear of a 3 month no riding nightmare. Man I love that bike like a warm cat purr'n on your lap in the middle of a snowstorm in December......anyway I'm soon to be the proud owner of part number Y0442.2am |

Thanks Xnoahx! I hope this is the fix most of us have been waiting for. I have been working closely with HD customer service and my dealer techs trying to get a fix for the charging issue. As with most issues with the 1125 the dealer learns the fixes from me... I learn about them from this site from people like you. I will pass on the part # to the dealer and see what happens. Thanks a bunch |

Why would the same part that came stock on every 2009 1125 model be a fix? |

Hmm.. I was under the impression this was a new part... as in new "updated" stator.. if not... well.. yeah... same old same old then |

ehhh.. never mind. I have my warranty work sheets beside me here at work. The part # given by Xnoahx is indeed the same part #... same stator that was put on my bike back in March of this year.. and it appears to be failing as well |

I just got my bike back from getting my stator replaced. Voltage has been good so far. I put maybe 400 miles on since then. Funny thing, I pick up my bike from the dealership. I never once looked at the stator cover. I ride 3 hours away on a camping trip. When I get there I noticed the puck on the end of the cover was missing. Either it fell off or never got put on. Well I called the dealership and told them what happened. They said the tech remembered putting it back on but has a spare here that he can put on. Hmmm where did you find the spare?? I really have no confidence in my dealership. I've had more problems with them then I care to talk about. |
