Dangit!!! Good thing I've got a spare... Now off to the dealership to get another backup belt. Is there anywhere I can find belts cheaper than like 185?? (Message edited by Pizzaboy on August 13, 2010) (Message edited by Pizzaboy on August 13, 2010) |

http://www.latus-harley-davidson.com/BELT-DRIVE-14 5-TOOTH-2.htm I am pretty sure Latus gives a discount for Badwebbers, may have to call. If not, Precision HD I know for sure offers a discount. Erik Buell Racing might have some take off ones available. |

that belt is still good, just trim off the bad teeth from the belt, and continue to ride! |

That belt damage is from pulling wheelies? Damn! Were you popping the clutch or what? |

Yea, I was just kidding... But I limped from Pennsylvania, to New Mexico back in 2000 on a belt that was missing a bunch of teeth on my S2. Just gotta be gentle.

I USED TO HAVE AN S2!!! yes that damage was done from a power wheelie, no clutching was involved. i trimmed off the dangler, and rode it until this morning where i took it into the dealership and had a 90 day warranty on the belt that i forgot about... since i got it replaced just in may, i was just under the coverage period!! WIN and now, i still have a spare belt for my track days... oh yaa! |

Why does your bike have a 90 day warranty while every other Buell since like 06 has a 2 year warranty? |

@Froggy - he has a 2008 model so I assume the warranty expired and he's bought a replacement belt in May that came with a 90 day warranty... |

and i wouldnt be too nervous... if its any consolation: i really beat the piss out of my bike.. that belt in it's short lived life saw much more abuse/ wheelies/ gear banging than most 1125 belts (atleast other owners in my region) are capable of doing! |

Those ebay fenders break all the time. Sorry to see it again. If you didn't hit your tail or the tail light on the ground then your plastic mount broke and got wedged between the tire and fender. That stinks. |
