No, I've done many before but this is the first on the CR. None of my other bikes were nearly as competent as this one is. |

Badass. You'll certainly have fun on it. I ride with a guy on a CR from time to time att he track and he loves it. I almost asked him if he'd switch my R for his CR for a session but chickened out...haha. Have fun...we need a ride report afterwards! |

I did a trackday with my CR not long after getting it -- it was awesome. It's a thirsty beast when you're whipping it. Bring plenty of fuel! |

How much do you go through Jsg? I always bring 10 gallons of extra fuel and never even go through the extra 5 for a whole day. I'd say I use maybe 1.75 tanks...2 tops. |

I always fill up to start, about mid day I refill, by the end of the day I dump the rest in the tank. I normally go through 1.5-2 tanks of fuel. One 5 gallon VP can is good for most tracks and most riders... if you race or you are on a longer track, bring an extra. |

i fill up before i get there then fill up at lunch or as soon as the light comes on. WARNING!!! if ur fuel light comes on, pit out before you run out of fuel and piss everyone off...ask me how I know. Its not like you can stretch a few laps after the light comes on. I couldnt anyway. Light came on and I was out a lap and a half later...talkin to a corner worker. |

Nothing but fun. The whole package is much better than I am. I rode to my comfort limit and the bike/setup/tires were dead stable and obviously had lots more. This is why I bought this bike. I'll be expanding my comfort zone. : ) The track had some big bumps, almost whoops. Once I got over the feeling that I would be launched off the track and relaxed to let the suspension do it's thing, the Buell shined. The Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs deserve special mention. They are amazing, consistent, effortless turn in, stick like stickum. I'm in TX and the temp was 104 degrees. I worried about frame heat roasting my legs like it does in traffic. I took a spray bottle of distilled water and sprayed down the frame between sessions. Heat was not a problem. I recommend this and use distilled water so it doesn't stain the parts. I love my Buell. Lone Star Trackday (lstd.com) event at Harris Hill Raceway. It's great to have a track an hour from my house. They don't run a lot of track days there yet. I hope they do more. The three pics are in succession, clockwise, at the top of the hill u-turn, turn 4, Santa Rita. |

Elite Track days runs monthly track days at Harris Hill. It's a bumpy, bumpy place, but still a fun track. I'll be there for the 2-day even in October. |

"Fun" doesn't even come close. Go! There's no pressure to ride outside your comfort level. It cannot be beat as a way to enjoy your bike in a low-stress environment. |
