I posted in another thread that my '09 1125R was overheating and the fan fuse was popping. Well, Western Reserve determined that it was in fact the fan failing. I have two questions: Has this happened to anybody else? and, WRHD has no idea how long we have to wait for a fan. Does anybody have an idea how long these are backordered? |

1, first time I have heard of this happening on a 1125. Congrats! 2, if you want to get back on the road now, you can buy them here: http://www.EBRacing.com/shop/product117.html http://www.EBRacing.com/shop/product116.html |

I have an 08 1125 and one of my fans failed two months after I bought it. June of 08. Took it to the dealer and a week later they had the parts. But good luck now. |

Thanks guys, for $35 it does seem kinda silly to lose use of the bike for probably at least several weeks. I may have to talk to the dealer. |

Mine blew the Fuse too at approx 1k, I inspected the Fans and the one on the throttle side was stuck, I gave it a spin and replaced the fuse and its worked fine since, The tech at the dealer has an 1125CR and He had another stick at low miles, that did'nt fail again after just giving it a spin. I'll just leave it be as long as its working. The fans will run at low speed constantly after the engine reaches operating temp. My engine did get pretty hot but the temp still did'nt get as high as My Ducati ST4s would in stopped traffic. |
