http://roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=4 1505 I wonder how much they lost on their original $100 Million investment? As an MV owner, I couldn't be happier. As a Buell owner, I couldn't be more pissed off. They can salvage some cash as they divest themselves of some acquisitions, but they charge off $150 Million to CLOSE Buell? This horse has been beat to death, but what a bunch of $HITHEADS! Jeff |

I'm glad that, at least, MV has survived the debacle... Buell will rise from the ashes, fingers crossed for February... |

Maybe Buell's new logo should be the Phoenix. |

Damn glad to hear that MV survived (so far). But HD still needs a public flogging for this debacle...and I bet their worth on the stock exchange will be that flogging... |

Well, look on the bright side, Gents! Harley's capitol investment really gave MV the chance to improve their product and make a "world class" motorcycle! And its befitting it be sold to the current owners. According to my Buell friends, Keith W. of HD is not a motorcyclist, and never even rode a bike before his current position in HD. Please correct me and my friends if we are wrong. He's nothing more than a golfer and "hatchet man" that Harley hired to do an ugly job. Can't wait until they give him the boot as I totally despise the guy! -Tutt |

Well, better that than HD running MV with current management! Its questionable that I will ever own another HD motorcycle. The only reason I would consider it is if my current dealer was still here in Ukiah as he has bent over backwards to support me in both my HD and Buell purchase. I know no one who has had such support from their dealer as I have, so I don't expect anyone to be sympathetic. -Tutt |
