I dont know if i should be worried about it. My engine, after I let it warm up, sounds like shit, untill I do some engine breaking and then bring it up to freeway speeds. Its sounds closer to the choppy potato sound of a harley rather than the percision hum when I first bought it. Should I have my dealer look at it? Its coming up on the end of the warrenty. I have nearly 3.5k miles on it, and ever since I started reading these stator threads I have been riding it like I stole it. |

The dealer gets paid for warranty work I can't see why they wouldn't want to take a look at it, it's their last chance to make an extra buck off the factory. Before your warranty expires, have you considered an extended warranty? |

This thing looks like a timebomb, according to the forums xD I believe the appropriate coloquial British response to that is "Bollocks" |

It kinda sounds like a fouled plug that cleans itself up once it gets hot. |
