Haha, reason I haven't chimed in yet is because I do not know. I am 200 miles from home so I do not have my EDM to take a guess. |

Here is my guess - I haven't looked at the books to see what that pin used to do, and the service bulletin to see what it does now. My assumption is that it was a previously unused wire, and all it does is trigger the relay to turn on and off. My guess that with the harness unplugged, the ECM will continue to try and switch the relay but nothing will happen. In other words the bike wouldn't know or care its gone, no need to swap the pin back. That is just my guess though. |

Well then maybe your right bout my stator being gone...... Maybe?!?!? But she charges while she's running but once I hit a stop light that's extra long the volts go down then don't get to chance to come back up before the next light and once I turn it off it don't come back... So is that the stator?!?!? |
