also did you have to drill the holes to mount. all mine are either filled in or look to small i think the CF piece that bolts to the rearset bracket will need drilling out. the other CF brackets may be alright. I'll have to go to hardware store tomoro and get some SS nuts and bolts. What kind of head on the bolts did you use for the finish side of the pan. |

I'm really happy to hear you guys thing they're a great quality too. Solo said Lorandi Resine handmakes and hand finishes each piece, so I was really hoping for a high quality product. |

Keep in mind guys, the spoiler that Andros has, is the Eskalation spoiler. Ours is the Lorandi Resine. Eskalation has Inox supports, ours are Carbon, so they may be a bit different, mount up different. I don't know. Just something to keep in mind... (Message edited by whippetlovr on July 12, 2010) |

Here are some pictures started to do a mock up, came into a few problems (easily solved when shops open again.) sorry bout blurriness camera was running low on battery so was quick, fitted here clutch side using 1x 6mm bolt We've had some pretty bad weather here last few weeks so bike is dirty i know The rear bracket on the clutch side fits behind a 8mm bolt holding the rearset together, problem here is there is a spacer which needs bout 2 - 3mm shaved off for it to fit (spacer is on ground in photo) Close up of correct rotation of bracket. Can see need to take out 3 stator cover bolts to fit this bracket

Looks great! I wonder how hard it would be to make the cutouts in the front part, like this:

cant see it being to difficult. only problem being you may have a raw edge from cutting through the layers of fibre. when i see my mate about painting it all ill see what he thinks, he used to build fibreglass boats and has rebuilt the fairings on a few bikes aswell. |

Whippetlovr, Is it too late to get in on the group buy for the chin spoiler? Either way, do you mind send me the details (price, brackets included, etc.) or at least a link to the thread? Thanks. |

To protect people from potentially getting scammed, group buys need to be done through a Badweb sponsor. |

Christiankid- the original thread has been deleted, and the group buy has been completed. Check out the supplier mentioned in the original post's website to see the details on the spoiler if you are interested. CF brackets are included. Sorry I can't help you more, but the supplier of the piece isn't a Badwebs sponsor. |

here are the brackets for reference. I take it the smaller bracket is for the rear right side of the chin spoiler? have any of you guys quoted paint for it yet?

Finally got mine in yesterday! And as an extra bonus, I didn't have to pay a dime in tax, VAT, duty, nothing. Has anyone mounted theirs yet? I'm hoping to get my paint made this week... I'm anxious to see it all together. |

Good News! I received my Chin Spoiler yesterday... I didn't install it yet, but I did take a good look at it once I opened the box. It was very well packaged. The quality of the construction and the finish are quite high. I can't wait to install it. I was sizing up the brackets. I don't like them but I understand why they aren't made of metal. The heat transfer. I have some installation questions. 1) Do we really need all three bolts on the stator. Can we just use 2 of the three? 2) Do we need longer bolts on the stator to compensate for the thickness of the bracket? Is this also true for the other brackets? 3) What size bolts do we need to attach the for spoiler to the brackets? 4) Do you think rubber or plastic washers are a good idea? Thanks Peter |

Lunatic, Referring to the spacer in the picture you provided, is this originally on the bike? Is it part of the hardware for the rearset? Thanks Peter |

Sarah, Yes I got dinged on GST and PST but it was $38. I expected at least $80 so it wasn't too bad. Is you spoiler making a nice addition to your kitchen table decor? I hope your not using it to put flowers... |

yeah if you have a look at right leg rearset, the lowest bolt holding it on is the one you will connect your bracket to behind it is a approx 12mm "off top of head" spacer there which you will need to change with a new one to accommodate the bracket. i think the allen key is a 8mm one. It is a pain to install the whole thing. i have got all my brackets on the spoiler gotta get it painted now. but when i reinstall i'll be putting the rear bracket one first and work around counter clockwise. there is not alot of space with the stock exhaust. |
