Then you and I are certainly friends! I was wondering what happened to you! Glad you made it home safe! I figure you must have gone home the other direction. Thanks for posting Datsaxman! -Tutt |

There is no foul language in my posts, nor did I lose my temper as you wish to presume. Either you no read good, or imagine that "jackass" is foul language. Knowledge is good. Ignorance, not so much. One of those word a day calendars might be valuable for you. Start with the 3rd grade version, about where names of farm animals come into play. Presuming I've We are 100% intolerant of jackass trolls and will not change that policy. To do so degrades the forum, and prevents the desired positive, thoughtful, and fun demeanor. The drama queens and pontificating authoritarian wanna-be's we can usually tolerate, but they are irritating in their queer little way. We'd really prefer folks here who most enjoy discussing Buell motorcycles and related subjects. Blake - custodian/owner since 1998 (Message edited by Blake on August 01, 2010) |

Yall shoulda bought an 08 when they first came out. I've had no issues with the bike. All the recall work has been performed correctly and pro-actively in a friendly manner by my dealer. Sounds like the problem bikes all came after mine. |

Blake - "their queer little way." Freudian f%^&ing funny, your profile shot is 3 men! You are missing the fun of exposing the troll's. I remember someone used to ask for a vin and make every attempt to adjudicate. Make it clear to everyone when proving someone is a troll with a transparent process. As it is it just looks bad. Hi Blake. I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Andrew Tuttle but I've been going by CowboyTutt for a long time and you can Yahoo Web Search for me and get a feel for who I am pretty fast I think. I pretty much only hang out at a forum dedicated to antique-style firearms and as I hear your a Texan I suspect we may have something else in common aside from Buells. We have a real high standard of conduct over there at Leverguns.com. You and I apparently have mutual friends. I just hung up with EoBear and I heard back from Sparky (Darly S.) and JJ. They all vouched for you. They told me you want to keep this forum clean enough for children to view, and to keep it positive and upbeat. All of which I'm in total agreement with. I also think it was appropriate to ban the original poster as anyone who calls out Erik Buell on FaceBook is someone who misses the whole point of what we are here to do; namely support Erik and what's left of the brand. The fact he went through 3 bikes suggests there may be more going on then "Buell unreliability" like poor maintenance, etc. We are a small group of enthuisests and what we do here on the net can echo in real life very easily as we may find ourselves at a mutual event such as Laguna Seca. So, I think we need to be careful about our conduct here. As I said, I'm new here, I just want to keep things positive and upbeat. No one enjoys a negetive forum. Thank you for creating BadWeb. Its a valuable resource and has already helped me alot. Respectufully, -Tutt aka Andy Tuttle |

Thanks much CT. I and the other custodians here REALLY appreciate your help and support. We're far from perfect, just do the best we can. Eric and Darryl are two of the really wonderful friends I've been blessed to make through our shared Buell enthusiasm. Their contributions to our community here stand out as exemplary. I'd like an old Navy Colt if you have one to spare. (Message edited by Blake on August 01, 2010) |

Blake, I see what you mean by a sense of humour. By the way, I read better than you. I can back that up with facts. And yes, "jackass", unless it is being used to describe the male Equus africanus asinus, is too vulgar for family fare. Are you claiming that is what you meant? That would certainly qualify as an ignorant reading of the context of your post, wouldn't it? The calendar crack is exactly the kind of insulting, ignorant, irrelevant comment you claim - if only it were made by somebody else - is cause to possibly ban. Certainly to issue grandiose "divine" proclamations claiming your own omniscience. If you were really 100% intolerant of all the things you say you are, how could you possibly issue such presumptuous, and therefore ignorant, posts. So yes, I am still with Danny on the question of tolerance. Always will be. You should be too. And really...you think you can presume to know my vocabulary? Thesauruses at twenty paces, Mr. Blake. At dawn, of course. Do bring a second to attend to the usual messy cleanup afterward. P.S. I DO enjoy the site. I wish I did not have to expect to censor the posts, though. |

Helping raise the rude childish youth typically involves. modification to body parts. The biggest cry babies tend to be raised by over indulgant parents. Helicopter moms. Life sucks for them when there are out and about with out mommy. Until the fire sale most Buell owners were engineers Blake, Aaron Court and many others. They understood the progress Buell made to the industry was more than just great motorcycles. Erik changed the way the industry thinks. A major feat. |

>>> And yes, "jackass", unless it is being used to describe the male Equus africanus asinus, is too vulgar for family fare. That's a queer idea of what constitutes vulgarity. Actually it's dead wrong. But I suppose that in referring to people as "sheep", or "lemmings", or as "bull-headed", or "cocky", or "chicken", you must feel oh so swarthy, all that rough vulgar language. LOL! Extensive vocabulary not same as good reading comprehension. You try hard, learn better. Please stop fantasize about me and thesaurus. Me not into that scene. Best for you and me is talk Buell motorcycle and stuff. You then be welcome here. |

Thank you for the support RPM and Bobby. Steven seems like an okay fellow, just seems to like to tell others how to manage their affairs according to his idea of what is best. I agree with Ken. Seen it too many times. |

OK, "true confessions" time for the Tuttster. I bought during the fire sale! I already had a huge Harley payment, but when the announcement about Buell was made mid-October, I started looking at the second black 09 CR we had in the shop and how I almost bought one the first time. But the 09 Dyna Street Bob was the better all around touring bike and we kitted it up to actually be pretty sporting with the longer Ohlins rear shocks and Race Tech springs and Gold Valves up front. Been all over the Western States on that bike, and its the one I'm married too. Dang fine ride. But when the Buell announcement was made, I decided to stretch things so I could own a piece of American Motorcycle History. As it turned out, I got a good deal because of the sale and for once in my life, my timing was good. I've always liked Buells and have ridden with the SCAB group since '98 on a BMW, then a year later a Hayabusa. After I left SoCal and sold the 'Busa, I disappeared off the Buell radar some. At the time I was buying, you could not even test ride a Buell because of a recall of some sort. Also, I had witnessed first hand some of the reliability problems the bikes had back then and wanted to be able to tour the country safely. So, yeah, I bought something else in '98 and '99. Kept that 'Busa for 5 years and I have to say, it was a remarkable bike. Put 66K on her. So, fast forward to last October, I took on another bike payment on top of the Harley so I could own the Buell. So far, my '09 has been a good bike. Minor problems, but nothing major. I even added an old 2001 ATK dual sport that I got for a rediculous some of $1200 from my Harley dealer friend. I probably have $1800 in it now, but its worth far more that that. So, I have a "blonde, brunette and redhead" living in the "man cave". I'm a happy biker and Bueller and just wanted to fess up. -Tutt |
