Set your suspension according to the manual. Adjust from there. Use just 1/4 turns until you get close. Then just 1/8 turns will make a difference. What's your weight? |

Is it constant when over 100? Or only when accelerating? I get it now and then depending on wind and road conditions but mine is pretty stable with good wind conditions and in a tuck to 150+. |

I know early on a lot of the Brits were having stability issues with CRs...It has to do with the roads to a certain degree I suspect...(or those fearless gents riding in the perpetual dampness)...personally I think a good damper is a healthy choice on any bike capable of extreme speed. My dragbikes all had dual dampers. |

Stiffen the rear. Make sure your front wheel is balanced. And MOST IMPOTRTANT: use your abs to hold you up and relax your grip on the bars--as though there is a baby chick between your palm and the grip. The wobble will go away100percent. I was at a track day sunday. (Pix will be posted later).. First couple times around onto the front straight, big speed wobble on accel as the rear squatted and the front got light. I did what I suggested you do, and was able to go wfo from 5grand in 2nd gear, shifting just before redline and up through the beginning of 4th gear when I had to shut off and brake for Turn 2 dead solid stable. Wide bars mean lotsa leverage, add lotsa torque while you are sitting up--- your front end will get light. You holding tight on the throttle side and the subconsciously "correcting" with your left hand is what induces the wobble. There is nothing wrong wih the bike geometrically. |

Poppa- if you are referring to a steering dampener, from what I have read, nobody produces one for the CR . If I remember correctly, the latest I heard was that GPR attempted to produce one but the R&D was going to cost them more than what they would have made off the limited market. Let me know if you find anything different. |

I had the same problem with my XB. it was the front wheel bearings. When I bought the 08 R I added an Ohlins damper..just in case. No problems.. |
