I was installing the billet tail replacement and LED tail light at the same time and I'm experiencing electrical issues. I have almost everything working. The rear left signal stays on all the time but the right side and tail light seem to be working fine. I had an extra wire with the original tail light, but one less now with the LED. Did anyone deal with this? I think American Sport Bike is closed till Monday and I want to ride! |

Maybe you tagged the license plate light instead of the left blinker. Test lights are your friends. |

Thanks for the quick response. The license plate light is intagrated with the A S B LED tail light set up and seems to be working properly, as in it's always on and not flashing or anything. When I engage left turn signal switch the front left works but the rear left just stays on all the time with the switch on or off. |

I too feel you got something twisted up with the license plate light. Check your connections. I am willing to bet you have something askew. ac |

I should have done this one at a time. I can see a wire below and next to the battery that has no slack, so I will have to take out he battery to see what it is. It may go to the tail light and maybe I attached one of the tail light wires to the turn signal. I may have inadvertently disconnected a wire between the under the battery and the tail light wire, then confused the others or something. It's electric! |

Yea, I just remembered anytime I've done something with the taillights on my R or CR one of the blinkers is short and you pretty much have to remove the rear body work. |

Thanks SS, can't get back to it till Monday AM, but I'll take it apart and go after that wire. |

Ok, you were right SS. Took off the body work and battery and sure enough the correct two wires were hiding down there. The two extra wires that I had hooked to, are the old tag light wires, that are no longer needed, as the tag light is now integrated into the new $82.00 LED tail from A S B. Thanks for the input.
