Recieved latest flash yesterday at my dealer along with harness recall work. Now my bike seems to have more engine braking than it used to. Is this real or my imagination? Either way I hate it! Will I need to go back to the old flash or new ECM fron E Bee Arr?

Special order your ecm from E Bee R. You will love the engine breaking as well.

Funny, I have the most recent flash on my '08 and I want more engine braking--probably a lot more. There have been times where I've braked and downshifted for a corner and as I'm leaning in and off the brake I want to scrub off a little more speed, but instead I end up carrying more velocity while approaching the apex than I had intended because of insufficient engine braking.

I thought my 09 CR came back from that update and download also running worse and the voltage to be all over the place. Before it was running very smooth and now it surges like my old 08 R. The voltage used to be steady between 13.7-14.2, but now it goes all the way down to 12.0 sometimes while I am riding, not at a stop. The voltage should be OK since it never goes below 12, but the surging may cause me to get a new ECM too.

Your AFV went back to 100 after the flash. the flash is the same as the last flash for the CR, which most people thought ran better than the previous flash.

What Do they change to adjust engine braking? Is it a fuel or timing adjustment?
