But only around 500 miles since the new stator.   Froggy Posted on Sunday, June 27, 2010 - 01:23 pm:        Yea too soon to say anything, I still am on the same tank of gas as when I picked it up.   Teach Posted on Sunday, June 27, 2010 - 01:33 pm:        Thanks for the response, I am trying to determine if the 09 stator issues have been resolved.   Keef Posted on Sunday, June 27, 2010 - 01:35 pm:        my stator burnt up, so when the battery would no longer stay charged and they had a stator i had previously ordered had arrived at dealership they installled the harness and when it didn't charge the battery they told me wow the stator is bad...luckily i had preordered a new stator so there was one available to install in my bike,i have since then put several hundred miles on it,took it to homecoming and the battery stays up and the electrical system is doing just fine....   Ron_luning Posted on Sunday, June 27, 2010 - 04:55 pm:        I had mine done at the same time, and have subsequently ridden approx. 3000 miles. No problems so far, but it did take almost 7000 miles to fail the first time.
