Just thought I'd let you know that AugustaHD has a 2008 1125r listed for $6995 that has merely 1491 miles on the clock. I am not sure when they got it in, but it hasn't been too long. |

Hey Josh. It's not mine. Mine's at the house until her appointment there next week for the harness upgrade... they better not try to sell it. Funny story though... So I ordered some part for the Uly. They came in and they called the house to let us know. Since I'm still in Afghanistan, and Heather wasn't sure which bike I ordered parts for, she asked if they were for the Uly or the 1125R. The response she got was, "They say Buell so I would say the 1125." Hope everything is going well. I'll be home in August if you want to do some riding. |

Oddball refresh my memory when were you there? You said you were "dealing with them" I assume it didn't go well? |

I contacted them online. I wasn't driving there unless a deal was basically done. I believe it was you that checked up on things later. Memory has gotten a bit fried of late but I think it was ya'll that had hero blue xb9sx and xb12ss I tried to combo deal on. I've long since deleted emails so I can't be precise. |

No big deal. I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here and say they wanted you to come in and talk? |

When anybody(out of state dealers) suggested to come by and talk I'd explain I was out of state if they didn't have my info in front of them. Went with Ratbuell ultimately. |

That makes sense trust me you didn't miss much. I had I guy come down from IL drove 9 hours to come get a bike that had the Out the door price quoted by a finance manager. The guy shows up and they up the price $500. I question it and they tell me " what is he gonna go home with nothing?" basically telling me that he wont leave without buying it because he drove so far. I told them it was a douche bag move they told me to deal with it. that was the begging of the end for me |

Josh I'm curious did he buy the bike after they upped the price. I would have left a phone # and walked. |

ya he did surprisingly (he did drive 9 hours). I would have told them to f- off, but it just reinforced there business practice and made them more arrogant. |

I'd like to think that eventually karma catches up to people. That is rather low. I take it they quoted verbally and not in an email? In text he would have had a case to hold them to the deal. There were other dealers who ate all they could once they smelled blood in the water. |

Karma is slow moving some times. the guy admitted to telling the buyer the wrong price and they still did it. When Jason (Mrred7) came up to Augusta for bike. I had quoted him a price on a cr and by the time he got there ( a few days later) they had raised the price and even thou I quoted the lower they still wanted me to up the price so they could get more money. the sad part is that the sales guy got no more money it was a flat commission on the buell when the price fell the store made more the guys selling did not. |
