Good luck man...i hope you get the money you're looking for. I love sportsters and yours is a nice one. But right now, the market is flooded with Sporties (i know because I tried to sell mine before I traded in for the 1125R) and while you might have someone willing to trade an 1125 for one, you might be hardpressed to find someone who will put down more than $6K in cash for it. Just food for thought. Good luck. |

I turned down $6800 for it when i first put it for sale . the market is flooded with sportys i agree hell the markets flooded with everything . My sporty does stand out in the sea of sportys though its an r model and an 08 the only year they were made with the 4.5 gallon tank .. |

Sell it for cash and buy the 1125. You'll have a few extra bucks for mods. |

I wouldve taken $6800 and run for the hills. The problem is that once you get over $6000, you start opening the door to older VRods and maaaaybe some of the older BTs. I know for me, the transition to the VRod world was quick and I've never looked back to aircooled HDs. I still really love the sportster line, but i'll stick with my 1125R and V-Rod. Just my opinion...Again, good luck with the sale/trade! |

You can get the ventura system for the 1125 - I have it on mine and it's pretty good.
You can fit the bag the other way around dependant on whether you have a pillion or not.. |

All of the "R's" and "CR's" are worth more too. Remember, the list on these bikes was upwards of $11,000---until HD puked Buell out of it's antiquated mouth.
