I live in Delray Beach. I have an 2009 1125CR in the garage (keeping a Ducati and a Victory company!). I'm also president of the Victory Riders of South Florida, sort of based around Pompano Beach. All bikes are welcome, and maybe you'd like to ride with us? If you want to be on our (VRSF) mailing list, send me an email: desmoduck@aol.com. I recently moved my 2000 Thunderbolt to St Pete (I stay on a sailboat up there now and then). I'm out in Las Vegas (have a 1125R here too) until July 18, then I'm flying back to FL. I also met one or two Buell riders at a Ducati Forza demo day (Pompano). Ducati Forza does occasional rides on weekends, just ask to be put on their mailing list. Finally, there's an informal ride group called the "Boca Posse"; I haven't ridden with them yet but I will, don't yet know what type of bikes; again, email me for contact info. | ||

Space Coast HD seems to be alive and well and hope that they remain so. At least until my upcoming appointment to install my high bar kit and 650 mile service on my new 09 1125cr the week after next. They don't seem to do too much discounting over there. But who knows in the near future, as someone decided to shut down the Kennedy Space Center. Thousands of engineers and other highly paid workers will be unemployed and many leaving the area for good, which will cause many other jobs in the community to go with them. It will probably mean a lot of cheap used Harleys and real estate in the area coming up pretty soon. Good news is I'm only about 50 miles from Orlando or Daytona, take your pick. Yeah Ken I definately would love to get out to lake o. it's been awhile since i've been out that way. My neighbor has a duc and we've been meaning to get a few riders to go out there. Also, I think some of us will be heading down to abacoa for bike night. (July 15th?) | ||

Guy and myself along with most others who gather together in S. Fla are a little more south than you guys (Dade and Broward), but I'm sure some of us would still be interested in a meet up to do a Lake O run and maybe even check out this bike night on July 15. we really southern S. Fla guys & gals communicate on the Badweb via the Stormfronts section under South Florida Rides subsection, and most of them would not see your thread here because they dont have 1125's and dont check this section; although I'm sure some would be interested in gathering with you for some rides. others still check our Stormfronts postings but dont themselves post. where is this Jupiter bike night and other than July 15 when and how often does it occur? Cowboys??? also not familiar with it but some of us over on the other section may be willing for a meet up and ride. check in at the South Florida Rides section and say Hi to the others and list some ideas and maybe we can get a larger group of Buell's together than we have so far (7 but only because we had 2 no shows) at a bike night. | ||

Bike night is at JJ Muggs in abacoa. If you go to Abacoa.com and search events it will tell you when the next event is coming up. I think they have this every 3rd Thurs of the month. I've not been yet but have been told it is usually a good show of bikes. Maybe spaceman can give us some more on what to expect. I have been one of those people who read the stormfronts section and think you guys down south seem to have alot of fun. Too bad for tepi's luck with "ruby". I think it would be fun to get a bunch of buells stomping aroud. I'm going to keep it local till my new pr2's break in. Man they are really squirmy above 65! But after they get sorted I'm really game for just about anything. | ||

Hi Yamatr3; good to meet you at Ducati Forza. That was a fun day; riding Hypermotos in between eating free pasta! I'll put a plug in for the Lake Worth bike night every Thursday (6th Ave exit off 95) I like it beacause there are a lot of bars and restaurants with music to listen to, not just one. I ride there on either my Vic Kingpin or my 1125CR. I'll be back there mid July when I fly back to FL. I'll look for rides on Storm Fronts too. Our club is also in the planning stages for our 6th annual Vics for Veterans charity ride to Key West Nov 5-7. All bikes are welcome, a fun time and a good cause! | ||

this Thursday night some of us are going to the bike show/meet at Bettys Best Burgers (formerly Fuddruckers) in S Miami. I should be there around 8pm and will hang out an hour or so depending on who shows when. will probably ride Coconut Grove to S Beach and finally back to Ft Lauderdale. Sunday some others will be gathering at Cycle Lab in Ft Lauderdale at 8am and meeting up with others as the morning/afternoon goes on. all is posted in Stormfronts | ||
