i just received my order from american sport bike. I installed my K&N filter, de-noided and installed the servo terminator plug. checked diag maode and a "u0001 comm error" came up, any idea if this could be a problem? also, I checked my AFV and both was at 105, not to familiar with those numbers. is that the normal range? now all i need is my RT-2 to come in! |

Comm error usually comes up if there was a momentary loss in connection between the cluster and ECM, usually caused by a low battery. Clear the code out and if it doesn't come back, don't worry about it. Also, the AFV is your bike compensating for changes in the riding environment, with 105 meaning the fueling is 5% richer than the base stock map. It will adjust up and down as needed. If something goes wrong like the AFV is too high or low, or one cylinder is too different from the other, it will throw a code. |
