Here are some photos of my exhaust. It was made by HDFR and used on their race bike before they shut their Buell race program down. It is hella loud, I plan to repack it and perhaps install some type of diffuser. The rear wheel stand is also an HDFR piece.

You dyno it? |

I have not dyno'd. I had what felt like a lean condition at low RPMs, then the latest flash was done and it runs much smoother. I would like to install an Erik Buell Racing ECM for even better fueling but am not sure which Erik Buell Racing tune to go with since they have several now. |

Damn I was bidding on that thing too! Contact Erik Buell Racing, a little birdy told me they might have a tune for it. |

Those are some long primaries prior to the collector. Looks a bit like the Moto-ST system from '08. Will build great torque, but might limit peak power. Loud as hell I bet. Ours Burns systems in '08 were nearly 128 db at full chat. |

Headers are definitely too long for peak power. Looks like a copy of the MotoST system, which was designed for huge torque but to limit power to under 122 RWHP per the class rules. |

HDFR is an awesome operation, too bad they quit racing Buells. They have a full CNC machine operation and can custom machine or weld or fab anything. The guys are friendly and helpful as well. Yup, I got it on fleabay from them a while back, it is nice to be local and not pay shipping, just pick it up at the shop. I would definitely like to get my fingers on an Erik Buell Racing tune for this. Anony & What_the, Sounds like this exhaust is just what I need then! Most of my riding is on back country tight twisty roads, I usually run them in 3rd gear around 5,500-8,500 rpm. It will pull the front wheel just a touch if I wind out 4th and bang 5th. Also can do 2nd gear gas wheelies all day! I think I can live with less high RPM HP and more torque. Posts from guys like you are what make this forum GREAT! Thank you! I doubt anyone from Hamamatsu contributes much to the Honda boards.

1buell, I am always riding in Frederick, NW Carroll and NE Washington Counties MD, Adams and Franklin Counties PA. I need to get out to WV to find some good roads out that way too! I ride with a couple of guys who have an R6 and a ZX6. It is fun to give them fits! We should hook up some time for a ride! I work from home and can occasionally sneak away during the week, less traffic then. |

A good road you may like is rt9 follow from hegdesville towards berkely springs and then keep going towards Paw Paw but dont go all the way unless you like alot more straight aways. The other badweber is Mrbikle he has had his bike tuned at HDFR and sometimes has more time to get out and ride. usually just the weekend is when i get time. Work 6 days a week, over your way trash company in frederick. other wise well have to try and meet up. |

Let us know how your wheelie machine performs once you throw the Erik Buell Racing ECM on there. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a CR myself, so I'd be interested to read how it works out. |

Really. Not sure if there is daylight under the tire, but light enough for the bars to twitch if I am not holding steady. |
