congrats on the win. cool video as well. Who exactly runs in the novice class? Out here CCS only has Amature and expert. The reason i ask is, other than you, i dont think i saw a single person in the video running something resembling a racing line.. Those guys were all over the place. Good video, but is everybody else really bad as you wiped the floor there, and i have seen better riding on inter track days here in the UK than those other guys, looked dangerous more than anything else ? And are you wearing textie gear ? only leather allowediver hear, has to be full suit or 2 piece with a zip at least 3 quarts of the way round your waist. The Novice class is just that. Novice. You take the new racers school, 2 days, then you can run in the Novice class until you accumulate enough points to move to provisional expert. I started on a 250 Ninja, 3 races, and moved up to my 1125R when I thought I had enough skill to not kill myself. This is my second race on the Buell. You can follow my progress on crotchrocket.tv As far as the skill of the riders, it runs the gambit. Shawn Higbee is a regular and turns in record times of <1:21 on a regular basis. My best time is 1:34 by comparison. They won't let you run at all if you can't go <2:00. It is club racing after all. My suit is Kevlar from Motoport. http://motoport.wsiefusion.net/_product_35442/GP-1_One_Piece_Road_Racing_Kevlar_Suit The only textile suit sanctioned by the major racing associations. I love it. I have crashed in leather and I feel much better protected in this suit. Plus it's lighter and when Willow is 100+ degrees, it is tolerable. (Message edited by Rod-Rob on May 23, 2010) | ||

The paint was done by Hotrods and Hogs http://www.hotrods-n-hogs.com/ I can't take any credit other than being the guy who bought it after it sat for over a year.
