Laminar told me that they would be glad to make something for the 1125cr. They said just have someone with a cr stop by their office so they can mock it up. I would go, but I live in central fl, so 8000 miles is little steep for me. Anyone in so-cal call them and stop by and we can have a great new option. I like what they have done on other bikes, probably come up with somthing cool for the cr, if someone could stop in, maybe even get a price break on the 1st of the line? Who knows? We bought th cr becouse it's naked, but just a little more wind deflection for the highway would be great. Come on guys, someone be the hero and getter done! |

A Laminar thread pops up every 4 weeks, stating the same thing. Apparently no CR's were sold in California |

Maybe Chad still has a functional flyscreen he could send them. Shouldn't matter if it's been flooded.... |

That would require him to get it off the salvage lot. |

Ya, I just saw the other thread where he said the ins. co owned it now. I should just keep myself from posting when it's a) been a long day and b) I have a couple of margaritas in me. |

Yeah I believe you in the function aspect of the fly shield, but that looks like absolute shit. I will just deal with the wind and noise. |

Interesting, I want to flame it, but don’t know what to say, I can’t think of anything funnier than the photo. LOL. can you mount it a little lower or something? Somebody please go to Laminar. |

Yea, I'm still working on the details. Lower would be better, but required some bracketry. |

Cocobueller- Did you just e-mail or call laminar? I have a spare fly screen I could loan them. If whatever they come up with would be a replacement [and they would hook me up somehow] I would even let them destroy it. I'm surprised no one has done more in this dept. I had a few hundred mile ride this weekend and some more wind protection would be great. Do you think they need the whole bike? You can PM me. Thanks! -Alex |

Speaking of flames, it needs to be burnt. There should be a law! |

Lower will require some clever brackets. I'm working on it. Hey, I could get a batwing or something.... It's mounted to the handle bar clamps.

Time to get yourself a sport-touring bike. That handlebar looks something out of ghostbusters. What the heck is velcroed on the left behind the GPS? Then again, if you move the mirrors to the bar ends, put some LED signals out front, you could cram (2) more RAM mount locations there and add a cup holder and/or a XM antenna for your zumo. Maybe even a clock radio on there somewhere. |

I already attempted, but the Uly windshields are very wide (similar to the one posted here), and would require very funky brackets to mount up to the skinny CR flyscreen. |

I was thinking about trimming it and using the CR mounting holes with stand offs or making new mounting holes. Never was able to find a cheap used windshield to try hacking on. |
