Anybody find a way to archive the Buell videos that were on the Buell website? There were some nice ones describing how to set up the bike, etc. I'd like to have copies of those for posterity sake. The one of Erik announcing the closure was pretty emotional, but clearly showed that he loved what he did. I'll buy, if needed, but I know I'll wish I had them in a few years! I downloaded a few from the Buell website way back when...They're stuck in itunes. I can try an email you one, but I don't know how big they are at the moment. Look on youtube for the following: Buell_Patents 1125R_Intro Buell 1125r commercial Buell Instrument Cluster Beull Niall Mackenzie Buell 1125R suspension set-up I just couldn't bring myself to save his closing announcement.. |

If you are using a Mac with Safari you can download Youtube (flash) videos a follows: Start playing the video Open the Activity window in Safari, you will see a long list of connections currently being accessed, with the number of kb transfered. Find the largest number. As the movie plays the number of kb completed will be getting larger. Select the entire link. It will have a cryptic name. Command C to copy. Open the downloads window in Safari. Paste th link into the downloads window and the video source file, usually flash, will download to you hard drive. (Message edited by rodrob on May 19, 2010) |
