more than 1 option for a long lasting replacement plug... IU01-27 can even make you 0.3% faster.... http://www.globaldenso.com/en/products/aftermarket /plug/racing/features.html I think the dealer will need to rotate my engine to fix the water pump seal. If so i may have him change the plugs while he is there. |

I change mine every 12k miles when the valves are checked. Why would you spend more $'s for a longer lasting plug at that interval since it is such a PITA to change them?? |

Ok. The 2 plugs are not the same, and that is why I am asking if anyone has any exp with them. The X ref each other on the Denso chart. Denso IU27A is $7.06 1 -Ground Electrode (i think) NGK CR9EKB is $7.61 2-Ground Electrodes There is no cost difference. I dont think there is any more HP to be had from changing the plug. I usually like denso. NGK are ok. The dealer may be rotating my engine to work on my leaking pump. maybe its just me, but i like to have more than 1 option. |

NGK CR9EIX work. I just put them in last week. You need to get a couple of the Denso adapters though, (Denso # 067606-0051... google the part and look for a guy on Ecrater.com for the best price I found). any other plugs cross referencing to that one should also work, but keep in mind the adapter is needed for the terminal nuts. |

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if there was a reason buell used the twin ground. I think I'll give the denso a shot |
