I have an uncomfortable vibration starting at 75 mph or so and gets stronger. Does anyone know what this could be? It's definitely not engine vibration as it is smooth as glass up until about that speed no matter what engine RPM. I would say maybe an out of balance tire, but I wouldn't think the tires would be out of balance after only 800 mi. Is it possible I have the suspension too stiff? Also, has anyone on here ditched the wheel weights and used Dynabeads or equivalent to balance their tires? |

1. tire pressure 2. suspension setting 3. wheel weight That's where I'd start. |

Thanks for the help. I'll give those a whirl. If anyone has tried dynabeads, let me know what you think. |

If you ride wheelies or pick the front of the bike up and drop it hard it tends to put bumps on the front tire! Feel the front tire with your hands for a bumpy tire. |

I use them I like them so far. My dad uses them in his shop and he swears by them |

I think i solved most of the vibration. I had the suspension too stiff for my weight, so I backed it off a bit. It runs better now. It doesn't help that the roads around here are littered with pots holes, cracks, and uneven surfaces. But the suspension adjustment definitely helped in the places where the road is smooth. I think I'm going to try the dynabeads out. Thanks for the responses from everyone. |

If you've got bad roads...and 75mph speeds...you're likely doing the "death-grip" as well. Loosen up. Don't try to strangle the bike, just relax and ride it; you'll be amazed how much less headshake you get. |

Maybe wheel bearings or the tire not balanced. I had issues with mine shaking at 105 and it ended up being a front wheel bearing that was starting to go out. It was not loose but turned rough by hand. |

I know for a fact that I do the death grip on some points of the road. It's not because I want to, it's just a natural reaction. No offense to any Italians on this website, but a lot of Italian drivers give me the pucker factor. So I know there are some times I'm strangling my handlebars like a cheating wife. haha |
