Anybody know how to translate the the 0-255 8-bit TPS scale into throttle open percentage? I read somewhere that you multiply the 8-bit value by .392 to get the percentage, but that would mean 14 of the 16 fuel map rows would be devoted to half throttle or less. Doesn't seem right... So now I'm making the assumption that the map is linear with respect to TP, so if the bottom row value of 7 is closed throttle, and the top row value of 255 is 100% throttle does that mean that half throttle falls somewhere around 35 and 45 8-bit value? Any help would be appreciated. |

TPS/2.55 or TPS*0.392, either will work 255=100%(WOT) and 7=2%(Closed Throttle) Most of the TPS settings are lower throttle positions because that's where you spend 99% of your time while street riding. (Message edited by fastcarr on May 13, 2010) |
