This guy was lucky and got the proto-type of the bike we all love or hate. http://roanoke.craigslist.org/mcy/1708736081.html Jimmy |

Well, there were watercooled prototypes running around East Troy back in the mid to late 90s... But they were running TL1000 engines. |

One question, why would you decrease the engine displacement to 1125 with all that engine work???? |

OMG I ride by that bike every day. It's sitting in a parking lot with a for sale sign in Rocky Mount Virginia (540). Love the $80 for the front rotors yes plural and the 109.95 for the Pulley cover. I can see he's got it all worked out. It's not a bad looking machine. I was going to stop and find out what he was asking for it, but I already have a 1125r so I don't need too. lolololol |

check out the speedo. If I am not mistaken, this 1125 has a speedo from 2002!? I would really trust the guy/bike combo :-) |

I love the picture of the "paperwork". I am glad he put that up there. I might not have believed him. |

I'll take some pictures of it tomorrow. It's right on the way on my daily trip to drop the kids at school. Looks like there is some sort of crap all over the saddle. $5K for a 1999 X-1 isn't going to happen for him. I see them going for $3500 on eBay. |

I never got a response to the email I left. I asked if he had the pods and other items he stripped off sitting around that could go with it when sold. |

Well that's a start. I still need to go over there and park my sun-baked Millenium X1 beside it and freak him out. Maybe he could polish my frame for $79.95. |
