Is anyone running water with "water wetter" if so let's hear some pro's and con's and are there any facts in favor of using distilled water as opposed to strait tap water?
I'm sure someone here has done some research.
Thanks
Mark

I dunno why u would, quit being cheap and buy distilled. unless you want to corrode the motor from the inside out...

Only use distilled water.

There is a bewildering concentration of distillates in tap water, not to mention the chlorine and fluoride.

OK, Point taken on Distilled vs.Tap, Now how about Distilled with Water wetter vs. Distilled with Glycol based coolant? (freezing temps. are not an issue)

Not as effective overall, but legal on the race track. Not sure it offers the same lubrication and protective properties as standard coolant.

On the track however, where glycol is banned, it is a good idea.

Mark, We do www.twinmotorcycles.nl we even sell it on our site and use it standard for customers bikes.

Look here for the product:
http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=74&pcid =10

If you read the article, You see that you can mix it with the current coolant and use water for better results.

We recommand this to uses in your 1125.

We tested it on the road and track and the results where very good.

I put 4oz in mine since the system was a little low when I checked early on <50 miles. I don't know how much affect it had since the bike was so new but my coolant doesn't seem to get crazy hot. I've use it in cars also and had mixed results but its never made the coolant temperature go up higher than it was without it. I've noticed it drops coolant temps on some systems.
