When we have a problem at a Dealership, we usually tell other riders or friends but when things go well , we don`t always tell the story to the same people. But I`d like to say that Western Reserve HD./Buell in Mentor,Ohio has treated me extremely well. Sales,(2 new Buells) parts, service and just everything all around, they`ve been just great. Just giving credit when it should be given. I`ll continue to shop and ride there. Fur |

They have a great dealership , I've never been less the totally satisfied , and they dont treat me "different" or put me on a lower priority just cuz I'm riding a Buell . |

I'll second that Western Reserve is the best dealership that I have ever dealt with. |

I'll toss out Santa Fe Harley (Santa Fe, NM) as an excellent dealer for Buells as well - the service manager owns a bunch of them, quite a few of the techs own/ride Buells (including one guy with 60k on his 08 1125R), and they've been amazingly helpful working out the issues with this bike. In the "Don't bother with them" list: Thunderbird Harley in Albuquerque, and Zylstra Harley in Ames, IA. |

I've got not one good thing to say about Zylstra H-D except I'm glad they are not near me.......Hal's H-D in Milwaukee IS a Buell place. |

Downtown H-D/Buell in Renton, WA are good folks who continue to do justice to the Buell brand. They actually have a factory-trained Buell tech. Not sure if any other shops in the area do. |

Syonyk - is the Service Manager's name Murray(sp?)? Met him at Homecoming 2008, great guy, very pro-Buell. Had to grab this shot a few days ago of the flags at High Country in Colo where I work. A new H-D flag is on order... We are also a very pro-Buell shop, proud to work there.

Syonyk - is the Service Manager's name Murray(sp?)? Yeah, Murrae is the service manager there. EXCELLENT customer service, knows the bikes, really cares about Buells. They've also got a Buell tech (Scott, I think) with 60k+ mi on an 08 1125R, and I believe he does most of the work on the 1125s that come in. There's a race 1125R with a EBR ECU & a Drummer in the back (holy **** that thing is loud), other Buells scattered around... it's a wonderful place to go for service. I just wish I'd found that dealership first, per my other threads I was getting very close to getting rid of the bike because service was frustrating at the other dealerships. I'm *much* happier with the bike knowing that I can get it worked on without worrying about them brushing me off. At Thunderbird in Abq, the first time the battery died from sitting (cluster issue), I took it in, explained what happened, mentioned that I thought it was a cluster draw issue, and an hour later got the bike back with "no problems found, charging system is fine." It did it again a few weeks ago, and last time I was up in Santa Fe, I mentioned it to Murrae, he came out, clicked through the cluster, noted it was an old software revision (prone to the problems), and has a new one on order for me. TOTALLY different experiences at the two places. |
