The parts came out to just under $2,000. Not too bad considering how bad the wreck was. The bike feels solid, i had it up over 100mph, and it didn't wobble at all, i am really excited. |

"Sorry officer I didn't know how fast I was going : D" yeah, that's my biggest worry. I don't want to get a ticket. This bike just begs me to drive it fast. |

Looks good! Nice fix, best thing about the "high" bars is the wind on your chest slows you down a bit so you avoid that ticket! |

my brother was able to avoid a ticket on it. He was flying down a hill @ about 90, and there was a cop sitting right at the bottom of the hill. The cool part is that me and my dad were behind him, so when the cop turned his lights on and went to pull out, he couldn't because he would have pulled out in front of us, as soon as the cop pulled in behind us we slowed down so my brother could get down the road. The look on the cops face was priceless. |

Aren't you glad we brow beat you into fixing it instead of trying to part a perfectly good bike out? Looks real sharp! |

I saw the same thing, is the subframe bent a little? Otherwise, looks pretty damn good! |

geforce, yeah, i am really glad you guys talked me into fixing it up. My brother bought a car, so the 1125 is going to be mine. I am stepping up to this form a sportster, so its a big step up. two_buells, i'll check that out, it does look like its bent to the right, i don't think its the subframe, i had the bike stripped down to the subframe, and it looked straight. Also, the way the bike wrecked, if the subframe moved, it would have bent to the left. |

The blocker line reminds me of an old joke: Two cops are sat in their car outside a notorious bar. They watch as a man staggers out of the bar heading towards the parking lot. He's wobbly on his feet, unable to walk in a straight line and keeps dropping his keys. On his third attempt he fits the keys into the door, opens it and falls into the driver's seat. The cops look at one another and smirk "let him get out of the lot and then we'll do him for DUI" one says. The car pulls out of the lot and proceeds carefully down the road, closely followed by the Cop car. After 1/2 a mile the cops pull him over and get out to do the sobriety test, they are surprised that the man sems very lucid and passes the tests with ease. Taking his details down obne of the cops asks for his occupation "professional decoy" he responds.. Needless to say when they get back to the bar the parking lot is empty |
