So I m just putting my bike back together after powdercoating everything. Well everything is put back together and I hooked up the battery and the the fuel pump cycled, and then didnt quit running. Does anyone have any idea why this may be the case? Thanks, Chris |

My fuel pump was doing that today! 09 1125R I noticed my gas cap was on but slightly turned, once I put the cap back on right this all quit???? FYI mine has done this on more than just one occasion. I would like a little more info too. |

The fuel pump will run for up to 10 mins after the engine stops (according to the manual), one popular opinion is that this is to overcome any issues with fuel evaporation and to ensure that the fuel system is correctly pressurised for the next startup. |
