If you have an 09 the stators are on Backorder until 4/30 currently. | ||

I suppose I was lucky mine crapped out before they went on backorder. Since this is a critical item for operation of a new vehicle under warranty, and H-D is unable to hold up their end of the bargain, what are they doing to compensate you? | ||

I'm starting week 3 soon as well.. Anybody got any ideas on anyway to organize a Revolt / Upheaval / or just generally kick up a "S***t Fit", count me in...I'm on foot over here and I'm IRATE over the situation. | ||

Maybe you can get them to buy your bike back. Then you wont have to worry about your Buell at all in the future | ||

A stator is a laminated iron core with wire wrapped around it to generate electricity - "A conductor passing thru a magnetic field will produce current flow". They are expensive to build.  Zack | ||

Bike has been at the dealer (stator gave up the ghost in their parking lot) since March 22. Went over to get the latest flash and that was all she wrote. Told them to order the harness and probe the stator to find out that it is dead, and order one of those while you are at it. No call or email from the dealer, ever, since. April 7 I call to see what the status is, "oh - we got the harness in and the ECM flashed today but it still wasn't charging, the stator was burned up". No kidding! Called again last week and stator still on backorder, date revised to 5/5. Can anyone confirm or deny that. I haven't seen my bike in 6 weeks. |
