First off Thanks to who gave me this link to Jake Wilson. I have been wearing Z1R Helmets since 2004. My older Z1R Stance was starting to smell bad after years here in the Desert S/W where temps are WELL ABOVE 100 OFTEN. Since changing bikes from a Quarter fairing to a Naked CR I was having some serious head wobble and buffeting issues above 75mph. So I ordered a new Z1R Venom from JW and it arrived just in time for today's ride. First off it is about 30% lighter than my Z1R Stance of just 2 years ago. It is very much improved in the aero dept and you can tell they spent time in the wind tunnel. This Helmet is Awesome ! At 100mph it is smooth. The helmet breaths much better, lower and top of the head. The weight is so light no more neck fatigue. The interior of this helmet is Ultra nice too. The best part JW has it on Sale for $ 89.00 That is about half price. Thanks for the awesome review and link .. I ordered one for myself I currently have a Scorpion EXO-700 and the CR is my first naked bike as well .. I wanted a second helmet and figure if this is as good at wind deterrance as you state this will be perfect and for the price ? cant beat it |
