I know I saw it here before but now I can't find it with the search function...

didn't someone post a brand cross referance for 1125 oil filter? If there is a place to order the drain plug washers in bulk that would be great too, thanks.

This was on another board. There is a source for the HiFlo that is running $6.64. Google "Hi-Flo HF564" and it's on the first page. I need to order some too.

Buell Q1064.1AM (Rotax RB-X134)
Aprilia AP0956745 (Rotax RB-X134)
BRP Can-Am Spider 420956745 (Rotax RB-X134)
Hiflofiltro HF564

Actually, just this morning I was looking for replacement drain plug washers. Of course, I forgot to get measurements before I left the house.

Anyone got a source or the dimensions?

I heard K&N made one, but can't confirm. I've heard the HiFlo are just fine to use. Buell, Aprilia and Can-Am are from the same manufacture from what I have heard. Ordering the Aprilia and Can-Am are easier to come by as well. And I think a little less than the $20 HD is asking for them.

Redliner172, have you used this filter? The size on the K&N website makes it sound like it's too long. Just want to make sure from a first hand user.

Here's the link. I haven't checked shipping yet, but I'm gonna order two if shipping is reasonable. http://www.powersportsuperstore.com/HiFlo-Oil-Filt er-HF564-p/tr14-0564.htm

<edit> Two filters shipped from Powersports Superstore are $21.36 shipped, but $8.08 of that is shipping. The guy from Ebay sold a pair with a seal for $20.99 shipped. (Speaking of which, where is that seal supposed to go? I've changed the oil once and didn't use the seal.) I've asked him if he wants me to post his contact info here in case anyone else wants to buy from him.

Dhdjr, thanks for the measurements on the crush washers : )

Here are links to McMaster-Carr for the crush washers and the oil filter o-ring:

O-ring

Aluminum Crush Washer

Copper Crush Washer

The OD of the copper washer from McMaster is about 2mm smaller, but I don't think it should be a problem.

Here is another source for the washers:
http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=290431&post=1574610#POST1574610

They are about 1/2 of McMaster's price.

Here are a couple photos I found on another board showing the Buell filter next to the BRB version (same thing.)

I have a K&N 556 sitting in front of me and I'm not going to put it in the bike. The filter may have the same dimensions but it is a tub as opposed to the stock filter that has an end cap. I'm no rocket scientist, but shouldn't what you put in be the same as what comes out?
