So, I have a Ventura System for the 1125r and I'm looking to get a license plate relocation system that will work with the Ventura rack. Does anyone know of one that will work? Please keep in mind, I have little access to any kind of fabrication facility, so I'm looking for something that's as off the shelf as I can get and still legal. |

How do you like the Ventura system? Seems like a cool way to go. |

Bugger... Does the Evotech (I have one) not work with the ventura system then?.. Do you happen to have any pics of the L-Brackets fitted and/or a copy of the instructions you could post so I can see if it'll be an issue with mine? I've used Ventura kit for the past 10 years and was about to buy the L-Brackets for my R (I already have everything else).. |

I really like the Ventura rack, actually. It's stable and stays out of the way, plus I can pack a bunch of stuff. I'm not sure about the Evotech, that's why I'm asking. My bike is outside and it's raining cats and dogs so I'm not going to take my camera out there right now, but basically the front part of the L bracket is attached to the rear bolt of each passenger peg, and then beneath the standard license plate holder are three screws in a triangle. The rear-most two are replaced by spacers and some longer bolts that hold a cross piece that both L brackets screw into, if that makes sense. The only modification of the stock setup is to drill out those back two bolt holes in the plastic so it doesn't crack when tightened. Takes about 10 minutes to get it on. I'll see if I can find pictures or maybe post some tomorrow. |
