.Hi guys! Just joined this forum and I must say I'm very impressed with the amount of knowledge here. It seems there are some great people on this board! I will definitely be active in posting. My current daily driver is a 2003 Mercury Marauder and I LOVE it! Anyhow, thank to Mitch and all the very nice people at Harley Davidson of Toronto, I'm a proud of owner of not one, but two 1125Rs! A brand new red 2009 and a brand new black 2008. I actually purchased these last October at a very highly discounted price. I will post pictures next month when they are out of storage. Anyhow I have a few questions regarding the 1125Rs I had purchased. 1// In Canada, what were the resale values before the incentives were offered? 2// I would like to purchase a stand for both my 1125Rs, where can I purchase them at? It must be USA or Canadian made. 3// If I'm storing the 1125Rs for an extended period of time, what maintenance is required? 4// How many 2008 and 2009 1125Rs were designated for the Canadian market? 5// Does anyone have a list of potentially obsolete parts in the future? Thanks, Peter! |

Hey Peter, Welcome to the world O'Buell! Drop me a line if you are riding up in the Muskokas or Haliburton way. Pre-incentive price was around 10k. I bought mine on the cheap side too <smile> X |

Hey Pete.....Pete here as well All the parts are potentially obsolete.....it's just a question of when. Like you I got a very discounted bike so I guess we'll see how good a deal we have in a few years if parts become scarce. That already seems to be happening with some parts Pete |

I like my T-REX racing stands, comes with 4 wheels each end stand. Has two 2 attachments to lift the front for a couple maintenance tasks with spools for the rear. $174 for all that shipped to Oregon,, seems dang good to me. I only have the 09 1125r, you might need a possible attachment for the rear like Pit Bull has for the 08 model you have |
