I'm kind of new here, and post on another forum but since this is the biggest Buell forum and it seems like I'm the only one on here who has one, I figured I would post some pics.

If that pipe wasn't so loud, I would scrape and save every penny to buy it. Damn, that looks good, BTW! |

Kidder - It's very loud at idle, but I can ride it around without earplugs which I couldn't do with my XB9. On long trips I would recommend earplugs but it's not as loud as people make it out to be. When I dropped it off at the dealer the other day there where HD's in the parking lot that were louder. Americanmade - lol, thanks. I'm going to make a better vid next week. |

BTW, is it me or does it seem like the air box and seat are not fitting very flush in the last 2 pictures? |

I noticed the seat and airbox gaps too. After hearing some of the hogs on the road around here the last few days, I don't think I will feel too bad putting a pipe like this on my bike. The wife will just have to get used to it when I start it up. |

What heat shield? I noticed the gap too but thought it was normal? The airbox cover is on correct, and so is the seat. Maybe it needs to be broken in more, when I took those pics it only had 2 miles on it. |

The fit on these bikes is less than perfect. Mine doesn't line up exactly either but those gaps just drew my attention. I was wondering if everything was fastened properly. Not a big deal I'm sure. That pipe is just dead sexy. (Message edited by Freight_dog on March 21, 2010) |

It almost looks like the catch under the seat isn't hooked in properly, but I looked at some pics of mine and it's pretty much the same way, slight misalignment. I saw the tail section was off but wasn't going to say anything about it since it looked like you took the pic right after the install and just hadn't buttoned up the bike yet. Btw, it looks pretty good. |

How long did it take to install? You have to rotate motor for the rear pipe to connect correct? Great look! What did you do on the tune for the pipe? |

That looks sweet! I gotta ask ya, who makes those rear directionals and where did you get them? |

D_adams, yeah the first few pics where taken right after I got it installed. The last few where after I got the bike out for the first time. I know the seat is on all the way because it took 3 tries to get it in like it is in the pics, lol Kykid, I did not have to rotate the engine and the bike is currently at the dealer getting dyno-tuned and warranty work done. Pete- I'm not 100% sure on the company, but they are LED. I think I got them off ebay. |
