Author Message   Cscutt Posted on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 - 08:14 pm:        All, I know they tell you they are not very pretty, because they have the seeming "unfinished" look, but this is what I did. I painted them with 3-4 coats of UV protection (outdoor) clear, making sure to get the edges to seal them off. Though I'm concerned about integrity of Kevlar when introduced to foreign chemicals(let alone weathering), I hope the kevlar is inside the resin for the fiber process. It looked like it on close inspection, and after I dremel-ed a set. I worked with kevlar entirely to much 10 years ago to find it degradation point, and how to wear the crap out of it. I want close-up pics of your finishing though. PUH-leeze!!!!!
