Have heard it talked about, but haven't seen a thread on here describing how to do it. Anyone that has done this your assistance would be appreciated. |

In that case you want to go the other way (running lamps to turn signals). Swap out the running lamp bulbs with some LED ones that light up yellow. They're a 5W bayonet fitting bulb as standard. You could then cut the wires to the running light bulb holder and put bullet connectors on there to attach them to the indicator wires under the fairing when you remove the mirrors. |

I replaced my running lights with "xenon" style SMD/SMT LED ones - they are a crisp white colour and MUCH brighter, they match the Xenon headlight bulb I fitted too. The amber/yellow ones you'd want would be like these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2X-5-SMD-Amber-LED- 168-194-501-W5W-Sidelight-Wedge-bulb_W0QQcmdZViewI temQQhashZitem3358f9b36fQQitemZ220536091503QQptZMo torsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories (Message edited by jules on March 08, 2010) |
