Rieguy187, nice tail swap. i was thinking about that. i don't know why Buell didn't do it anyway. it would have made the CR a bit more different to the R |

With the Acerbis integrated lights, where do the wires run, is it inside the bars? If so do you need to drill an outlet for the wires? |

I'll soon have a cr Rieguy187 .I wonder if the cr sticker on my new tail will make my R go faster. It looks good what mods were needed to accomplish this. |

yeha its way faster with the new stickers! LOL! Anyhow the tail light is from 12oclocklabs.com they sponsor me for stunting so I run the same tail light on my supermoto. It has intigrated tail, running, and blinker in one unit. all LED. It was quite a bit of cutting and welding to get it to fit, but thats the way the should have made it instead of the gigantic stock one. I had it all powdercated to match the frame color. glad you guys like it! |

Patkin,..they run off the tip of the handguards,..the part thats closest to the cluster so to speak, then go behind the front fairing. Not the cleanest look when i installed them but it doesn't bother me anymore. Ill take some pics... |

Mac_inger Just ordered that setup. Thanks for the link. A good closeup of these showing where a barend mirror would go would be a big help. What about barend mirrors for this setup? I was told that they would need to mount between the bar and the handguard. What did you do for the new directional wires to connect at the bike? Did you just cut the wires on the original mirrors and splice those in to the new lights? Thanks for your help. Mike Long Island, NY |

Rk,..i have no idea about bar end mirrors. I don't have any. As for the blinkers,..i striped the connecting pins from the factory mirrors and attached them to the new wires. You'll see when you get it, its very easy. Make sure to have some electrical tape just in case. |
