I lost one of my keys and knowing the kind of luck I have, I'll probably lose the second one. Almost feels as if key will snap if i apply any more pressure. Eventually the damn thing lets me in. I assume it has to do with pressure from gas caused by riding. It scares me. There I am low on fuel, all alone 40 miles away from my spare and SNAP the key breaks.....that would suck.   Ratbuell Posted on Sunday, February 28, 2010 - 07:04 pm:        Dri-slide cable lube in the locks on my bikes, I do it every time I get caught in a downpour (locks, and cables). Helps keep the tumblers lubed. I've also found that pushing the cap *down* while turning the key can help some.
