I've looked, but found nothing addressing duplicate keys for 1125s. Harley charges $25. I lost one of my keys and knowing the kind of luck I have, I'll probably lose the second one. What alternative to getting a key cut other than HD? |

Keys should be $20 a pair from HD. I've read somewhere they use a Volvo blank - maybe a locksmith could ID the blank for you? |

Speaking of keys....anyone having problems with keys not being able to open gas cap after riding. Almost feels as if key will snap if i apply any more pressure. Eventually the damn thing lets me in. I assume it has to do with pressure from gas caused by riding. It scares me. There I am low on fuel, all alone 40 miles away from my spare and SNAP the key breaks.....that would suck. |

Dri-slide cable lube in the locks on my bikes, I do it every time I get caught in a downpour (locks, and cables). Helps keep the tumblers lubed. I've also found that pushing the cap *down* while turning the key can help some. |
