4 bang. the purpose of the first relay is so when you flip to high beam it keeps the low beam on.so they are both on.this is the way i had it on my lightning with halogens. i havent done the second relay yet. im still thinking it all out in my head. |

Can you pass That high voltage though a 12volt relay or are you using a special relay? Can the wiring support 12+ amps of current for start-up and 6amps to run them? |

nevermind, it wont work. it appears that the ballast must see a complete circuit in order to fire up. even if you make the connection afterwards, it will not turn on. you have to turn the key off and back on to work. so sorry. back to my original setup. |

That makes sense. The digital balasts are probably load sensing and will only function with the load of the bulb on. ac |

THANKS FOR THE UPDATE... i was curious if it would work, glad to know it unfortunately does not. Next step is to retro fit some BI XENONs into the light housings. they have hi beam by reflecting the light in a different manner... |
