anyone running the power comander with auto tune? any results or impressions? |

I'm very interested too.I emailed them a pile of questions about the learn rate and if the bike stores the tune.Id hate to buy a tuner that performs a autotune every startup.Thats what the remus did.It took my bike 1hr of straight riding before it would run right.Then you shut her down to find out you have to ride it all over again.I'll post the answers when I receive them. Theres a ton of tuners that can whip programs up for the commander in hrs.Thats good.I believe these bikes vary so much that one race ecm doesnt work on them all. |

I found it interesting that they list only 1 oxygen sensor being used on the Buell. The front and rear cylinders have separate fuel maps. I don't see how that would work properly. ac |

For the price of the auto tune options, you could just get it dyno tuned. |

I heard through the grapevine that there will be more maps available very soon.Its in development now.A autotune wont be necessary.You'll be a able to buy a pc and load a race map.Finally someone stepped up to the plate "thanks bud".Stay tuned |

I haven't used the Autotune on the 1125 but have on other bikes (and currently have it on my XR1200). I find it is a great option especially for those that don't want to spend a lot on dyno tuning or who change setups quite regularly. I constantly change my XR1200 to develop and test new parts, so find the Autotune invaluable. One thing that can be problematic is that you really do have to run the bike right through the rev range in order to get it tuned properly. Sometimes this isn't possible on the road so you still may need a dyno to get the peak performance from it. |

Any idea how fast it "learns" the bike? Minutes? 1/2 hour? |

It will normally learn the setup within 20 miles/20 minutes of riding, but you do need to try and go through the whole gear & rev range to get it calibrated properly. Riding around in town for 20 minutes won't work |

thanX for the info, any noticable "seat of the pants feel"? Ive just heard so many people talking about throwing a exhaust and filter on and having the bike run way lean. I'm trying to avoid that. |
