As a current 848 owner who will shortly be an 1125CR owner and in light of HD dumping Buell...this is pretty interesting: http://www.cyclenews.com/articles/road-racing/2010 /02/09/latus-goes-ducati |

I thought the 1125 was still eligible for AMA competition...hence EBR *confused* ac |

They may have made that decision before EBR was announced. They may also be trying to get a racing effort together that will be around for a few years. No one knows (besides EBR) whether EBR will be around next year. Last I heard, they had a one year agreement with HD. I wish them the best with whatever brand they end up racing. Latus has been a huge supporter of Buell over the years. |

It is still eligible. Most of the 1125R riders jumped ship after the d-day announcement. Last time I looked only two 1125R's were racing in DSB. |

Pre 10-15-09 one of the big reasons you should be racing a Buell was the contingency $$$. One of the best in racing. The absence of BMC contingency money, has forced some racers to change their business plan, which for some means switching brands. |

@Buellblastrider, am selling the Duc because it is just not a great street bike. It is gorgeous, and I think the mods I've made have added a lot to that sex appeal. However, I smile for the first 30 minutes but the next 30-60 are more pain than pleasure. It's ergos are hardcore track-oriented. This is even with a great aftermarket Sargent seat, higher triple clamp (SpeedyMoto), and Swatt 1.5" risers. I want a bike that leaves me smiling from start to finish. I looked at the StreetFighter but so damn expensive and also very aggressive riding position (easy to throw on bar risers and a better seat but still, $15K). I love the HyperMotard but wish they would have put the 1198 in it first instead of the new MultiStrada 1200. Here's the expired eBay ad for a look...it will be back up soon...there's no doubt it's a gorgeous bike: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=220546425308&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK %3AMESELX%3AIT |

Sorry for you loss, but not many are with you on that. Many of us have been Buell enthusiasts long before the 1125R came along. |

Just like d-day huh court.} FYI - I am neither an administrator or a moderator. Not sure I understood the question or if you were addressing me. You'll note there were a lot of riders changes brands about the same time. They'll be back. I'm heading to Daytona, it had ought to be a great time. |

Paint Shaker I didn't see Walt Sipp on the registration list for the 200. I must have missed him, I'll look again. |
