I heep hearing that you can stick s pegs and uly pegs on an 1125 but I have yet to find a pic of it in a search. I tried to put the pegs off my s on my 1125 but they dont fit right. I searched and found a post saying to grind on it but after looking at it it seems like it would not be very strong and that concerns me. Do Uly pegs fit without grinding? Has anybody here actually done it? I have long legs and I need the droop to get my knees in the notch of the frame with my heels hanging on the pegs. |

Absolutely. The Uly pegs are a drop in fit with no mods. At least they were on my CR. Best Mod Ever. I don't seem to have any pics, but they look great. I like the uly vs the R, a lot biger, and quite comfortable. (ps, the silver ones seem to be cheaper.) R |

I picked up some Uly pegs, the black ones because I thought they had rubber on top for better grip. Oh well I think they will look nicer than the big silver ones on a Black CR. And yea the blacks are like 2x the money the silvers are. (Message edited by Bob_Saggot on February 08, 2010) |

I also have the black Uly pegs on front and back. Just had to add a few washers to the passenger ones to get the little ball bearing thing to work to keep clicked up when my gf isn't riding with me. |

Tried the Knight Design pegs off ebay. More $$, but well built and fit perfect. You can get them with a 1" drop. |

My black Uly pegs are going on as soon as the garage warms up enough to keep me from sticking to tools. Till then, not much hurry...I'll stick to the Uly with the CeeBailey windstopper and all my heated stuff if the roads ever get cleared |

I had to file the Uly pegs to make them fit on my 09 1125R. |

I've tried both Uly and Lightning pegs - either may require a little filing to fit just right. I prefer the Lightning pegs - the Uly ones are a little too wide for my liking. |

My "s" pegs required a little grinding to fit. The Uly pegs were just plug and go play. I went to the Uly just because they were wider and spread the load on my soles for my 150 mile daily commute. YRMV but, that's just my $0.02 based on 32,000+ s'miles. |

speaking of 1125 pegs, anyone know if the 1125 pegs are as brittle as the normal XB pegs? as in, they break when you breath on them wrong? |

That has not been my experience. IIRC the 1125, s, and Uly pegs are different than the standard "r" pegs. Besides if they can support my fat a$$ they can hold up to someone's bad breath ;+} |

Froggy, what is different between the silver and black. You mention the black are "grippier?" Do they have deeper grooves, rubber coating...? I found pics and they didn't look too different outside of the color. Thanks! |

the difference is just color..neither have rubber inserts. they are alot wider and about 1" lower and have a better angle to them |

WRONG. The black pegs have a different saw tooth pattern, along with being covered in a more grippy material. Your feet WILL slip off the silver ones when wet.

Alright I give up! My eyes are gone, yep that's what it must be since I can't see any difference b/t the two Picts except color, hmmmmm! ;+}. Anyway, in 32,000 s'miles my feet haven't slipped off my silver Uly pegs. Must be my boots since I don't have webbed feet like some we know. Time2run |
