I love it! This is actually one of the better Deal's Gap videos I've seen. Wish I was there & it was warm right now. |

... and people mock the mighty Goldwing. Properly ridden, they're rather quick bikes. And, you can ride 300 miles to twisty roads, have fun, and ride 300 miles home, on the same day, comfortably. |

That guy is like the bumble bee that flies because he does't know his wings are not big enough except he flies because he doesn't know his bike is too big |

The Yellow GW was the "super" version. He then took that model down to Traxxion Dynamics and had the suspension reworked to increase the height 3 inches to provide better lean angles. It ain't stock. He is skilled particularly given the fact that there are precious few tire choices for GWs. "Sticky" rubber isn't an option. |

TAIL OF THE DRAGON AT DEALS GAP, with 318 curves in 11 miles, is America's number one motorcycle and sports car road. http://www.tailofthedragon.com/ (Message edited by Xelerator on February 05, 2010) |

So I've seen. When I road it back in 2001 there was no enforcement and I got passed by a guy on one of those fat-tire choppers. That was a reality check. At the time I was fully loaded with tank bag, saddle and pillion bags but still to get passed by a chopper was a little depressing. Now there are more Highway men than there are miles. |

The guys nick name is or was "yellow wolf" from what I know he was an ex racer pretty good from what I heard. He used to have all kinds of camera equipment on the front and back of his bike and would video you riding the dragon from the front and back then would make you a DVD on the spot for like $45. I was told he quit. He would show them after the ride and they wouldn’t buy them thus wasting his time recording it. (Message edited by joshinga on February 05, 2010) |
