If you aren't looking for one that interfaces with side fairings EBR offers a standalone belly pan. http://www.ebracing.com/shop/product22.html |

will the XB chin fairing fit under the 1125CR? Pics if anyone has done it? |

I want to see this one on. I have to be honest it looks like it will merely cover the stock exhaust but not create a chin fairing look like the firebolt had. |

Someone asked before, so I went out to my garage and checked being I have a complete XB chin fairing on the shelf. The whole lower engine/muffler area on the 1125 is much wider than the XB so it will not fit. If you removed the center piece and got a custom one, it could be doable, but you still would need to fab up some mounting brackets for the whole thing. Also to note, the 1125 oil cooler was in the way too. |

I also have a Jardine, and have done the same as Froggy. I dont think it would be worth the effort. To get it to fit up tight you would have to notch the top of the center section to clear the oil cooler and collector pipe. It needs to be high and tight for it to look right. You want the angle of the chin to match the angle of the front tire like on the xb. It would take some fairly extensive modification to do it. I hung it on there with some zip ties, it just does look right IMO. Can it be done, yes, but its not worth it to me. I am going to go the route of making my own similar to the member on there with the Monster themed bike. |

I'm going to attempt making a chin fairing for mine also. I have wondered the same thing about the XB fairing. I don't want a full bellypan because I like the looks of the stock can from the collector back. It just needs something over the front to hide the "dog bone" end. Looks like snow off and on here for the next couple weeks so hopefully will have time to work on fabricating something. |
